Another blanket is off the needles and keeping Leigh warm. She snaffled it as soon as it was left lying about and I am going to have to grapple it from her.
This was my Tuesday night knitting group project as it was mindless garter stitch, no counting and certainly no fancy pants stitches. This meant I was able to talk and listen to the others in my group and not have to concentrate too hard on what my fingers were up to. I am missing it muchly and need to get another easy project to do on a Tuesday. Any suggestions? No small baby clothes though, they are too fiddly and don't last long enough for me. Maybe another February Lady sweater? Perhaps one that fits me better this time? The last one is waaaaaaaaaaaay toooooooooooooooo biiiiiiiiiiiig and I am seriously thinking about felting it..........
Anyways, back to the log cabin.... with bobbles. I did the edging adding on what seemed like an infinitive amount of bobbles all of which took me 10 hours to sew in the bobble ends. It's here that the credit goes to Lorna from the Tolbooth knitting group who suggested this edging and although it took a VERY LONG TIME, I am so glad I listened to her suggestion.
I hope you like it.
