Offensive Knitting

While we were at Vivo Scooters open day today, one stall was selling hand knitted adult 'dolls'. This must be one of the most offensive knitted items I have ever seen, but man!!  it was a good talking point.

Mary and Squire recently got engaged. Today I had a looky see at her ring and I think it is one of the most unusual rings I have ever seen. Very chunky, very different and very much Squire's taste.

A cry for help

A few weeks ago my computer decided to do something weird and I lost all e mails, bookmarks etc. I am slowly finding them all again and trying to find time to spring clean this blog, adding my favourites to the side bar and deleting the broken links.

There is one blog I am desperate to locate. The trouble is I cannot remember the name of it! It's got a catholic sounding title, something like Our lady of St aloysious of the lost causes. Or maybe thats not it's name at all! Anyway, the lady who writes it is a teacher with a little person about 6ish and an evil mother in law, who makes pots of soup and who wants to rule the world nevermind her daughter in laws roost when she visits.... and she throws swear words in at the most pants peeing moments.

I MUST FIND THIS BLOG..... Please can anyone help me?

Bank Holiday Monday

What a gorgeous day it has been. I started to turf out my new vegetable plot but very soon the combination of heat, sun and lack of good tunes on my i pod took over and I gave up half way through. I also wanted to make a nice tea for my MaDge cos he didn't get the day off... He needs a new job ASAP.

I made Banolo meringue for tea. An easy peasy ,made up in my head  recipe which tasted magnificent. I made some meringues using the old one egg white to 2 oz of golden caster sugar combination, then whipped up some cream, layer bananas on top then drizzled the whole lot with toffee sauce made from rolo's and double cream melted together.Voila! A pudding is born.... bananas and rolos make up banolo in my opinion.

I'm no tired!!!!

Anyone who knows me will testify that my war cry when drunk is 'I'm no tired!!!!'

Tonight was no exception....... and the picture always tells a thousand words (or whatever the saying is..... too much Magners to care!) I DIDN'T WANT TO GO HOME !!!!!!!!!!! This equals the twin of evil picture that only Linda knows about.... if she ever finds it I will post it here.
